Minister Attaf Installs New Secretary General Of The Ministry

Following the diplomatic movement recently approved by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Ataf, today presided over the installation ceremony of the new Secretary General of the Ministry, Mr. Lounes Makramane, to succeed Mr. Amar Bilani, who has been appointed Ambassador of Algeria to the Republic of Turkey.
On this occasion, the Minister praised the efforts made by Mr. Ammar Belani and his dedication during his mandate to work to strengthen the performance and efficiency of our country's diplomatic apparatus, wishing him every success in the new tasks entrusted to him. . In the same context, he also commended the competence of the new Secretary General of the Ministry, Mr. Lunas Mokarman, and his professional background, which qualifies him to continue the efforts of his predecessor and complete the process of implementing the objectives set by the President of the Republic in his capacity as the foreign policy decision-making institution.
From this point of view, Minister Ahmed Ataf took this opportunity to salute the renewed vitality and effectiveness of Algerian diplomacy under the leadership of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the achievements recorded in terms of strengthening the position and role of Algeria in its various spheres of belonging, stressing the need to continue and intensify efforts in accordance with the instructions of the President and as the embodiment of the strategic vision enshrined in his program aimed at carrying out an "active foreign policy and proactive" that preserves the firm values and principles that have refined its identity, and deals rigorously and effectively with the regional and international circumstances that oppose it.
In conclusion, the minister called on the executives and employees of the ministry to continue the process initiated by the President of the Republic, in his capacity as the craftsman of foreign policy and prime contractor for its implementation, emphasizing the need for everyone to be constantly mobilized to bring more in order to ensure the preservation of national interests and to ensure that Algeria's word is respected among nations, especially since our country is preparing to become a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
